Ms. Fraser has extensive training in 5 Element Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Auricular Acupuncture, and Japanese Meridian therapy. Having practiced in the U.S. for 19 years and in Japan for 2 years, she has trained with Master Shudo Denmai of Oita, Japan and Dr. Takahashi Jo of Shang Hi, China. Upon her return to the States, she developed and supervised the Healthy Alternatives Department at Calvert Memorial Hospital. Presently, Ms. Fraser is the owner of White Lotus Acupuncture & Holistic Services, Inc.
Serving as Board Member for the Acupuncture Society of Virginia, Ms. Fraser worked on legislation that defines the practice of acupuncture in Virginia and in the U.S. Lecturing for corporations such as Thomas Reuters of Washington, D.C. and the National Education Association, Ms. Fraser speaks regularly about holistic medicine throughout the D.C metropolitan area.
In 2001, Ms. Fraser earned her hypnotherapy certificate from the Eastern Shore Institute of Hypnotherapy. She specializes in hypnosis for stress management, weight control, and work and sports performance.
With over 21 years of clinical experience, Ms. Fraser is well-known for her effective acupuncture treatments, herbal prescriptions, and healing presence. Her successful clinical outcomes make her a much-sought-after practitioner. Having graduated with her Masters from the Maryland University of Integrative Health of Laurel, MD in 1997, Ms. Fraser specializes in the treatment of chronic and acute pain, neck, shoulder, back, and leg pain, as well as digestive disorders, migraines, insomnia, depression, gynecological disorders, infertility, weight management, depression, anxiety and addiction and more. She designs a personalized treatment plan that includes acupuncture, herbal remedies (if needed), nutritional guidelines, and exercise and lifestyle recommendations.
